I purchased these leather sneakers for my son. He is quite please with them. They appear to be well made. He hasn't worn them yet so time will tell but so far he's happy with them after trying them on.

I was looking for a pair for barefoot-no sock wear. I wear a 10.5 with socks. For barefoot use, I prefer the 10 that typically fits out of the box. That didn’t happen here. The shoes in barefoot are cramped and stiff.
These are short in the toe and flops a blister on the heel. The sole is quite rigid. No doubt, the heel/sole could be solved with a double-sock break-in. With just one pair of socks, the toe is really too tight and the heel is still hot.
Otherwise, the shoes look great.

Looks of the sneaker is fantastic. The comfort after the fist day of breaking in is very nice. Love the leather. When ordering pick a half size smaller from what your normally wear, this was recommended by a previous review and it was dead on. I would recommend this shoe.

I have never had a pair of Steel Toes I didn't hate. I still used them and wore out those I had before I finally bought a Suzuki Boulevard C50T Cruiser motorcycle a couple weeks ago. I wanted a tough sole shoe with a steel toe, especially while I get used to stopping and restarting the bike, but I wanted the shoe to have some feel for the gears and brakes. These Skechers Cankton WORK steel toes were as comfortable as my nicest and most expensive Adidas, New Balance or Reebok tennis shoes, or as any of my street shoes. (I did take out the Skechers insole (only because as a WORK shoe it put more padding under my heel than I needed for riding.) I put in my own favorite brand of insoles for tennis - more arch support, and a little less heel and toe support - and the shoes felt even better. I had a lot more sensitivity to the left foot platform gear shifter, and to the right foot brake on my Cruiser. I would not wear these for tennis, but with these I no longer have to pick my oldest or dirtiest tennis shoes, just to go for a walk in the woods, or in the park after it's rained. I go for rides, I since I don't notice the steel toe at all, I even wear them just to run errands. I normally wear a 10.5 M, but I bought these in a 10 W and they fit great.

I love the look of these shoes. I find that the fit is good, but if you are wearing for long periods, I am not sure they are the most comfortable shoes. I use them for a night on the town, but not for working.

I always have to replace the default inserts in these shoes with something that has some arch support, but I wear them because I love the look. This pair definitely feels like the tongue is very thin, more so than in previous versions. More than once I’ve had to remove the right shoe particularly to flatten the tongue and slide it back on gently to avoid the tongue folding over on itself along the top inside. Next time I might try something other than the “core” style as I think the quality on the core models isn’t as good as others.
