The Columbia Fairbanks are comfortable, supportive, and have a good sole. The grippy sole is the most important part of a shoe for me, since I have an older individual wearing these sneakers, and avoiding slipping/falling is super important. The shoes are worn for daily walking about and work well for that.
The arch support feels great; there’s no foot fatigue at the end of a day wearing these. The mesh is breathable, but doesn’t block out any water, including puddles.
The sizing is true to size.
The look of the wide lacing is a personal preference (not a big fan) but definitely makes putting the shoes on and taking them off much easier than a narrow-tongued sneaker. Overall, the look of the shoe isn’t too athletic, so it could be worn in a variety of settings if you’re looking for comfort/support.

I am a male with a US size 13 shoe. I can buy shoes from pretty much any name brand in size 13 and they will fit me perfectly fine. These shoes feel small. Small enough that the few times I've worn them, they were actually uncomfortable. I wanted so much to like these shoes as they were a decent price and I keep wearing them in the hopes it's just a matter of breaking them in, but the reality is even when I look at them, they look smaller than what they should be for a US size 13. If I were to venture a guess, their 13 feels more like a 12.
It's hard to review the rest of the shoe quality considering they don't fit properly. The issues I have could most likely just be attributed to that. Be wary of the sizing if you're going to purchase these.

Have another pair of leather Skechers that are awesome. So I bought these as I needed a black pair. The first thing you notice is how ridiculously light they are...Second is the memory foam inside, Nice!...They are very comfortable, but seem to run about a 1/2 size large.

I love the look of these shoes. I find that the fit is good, but if you are wearing for long periods, I am not sure they are the most comfortable shoes. I use them for a night on the town, but not for working.

These are always classic. I insisted on having them to wear with skinny jeans and tees or tanks since boots don't really go well with that combo, aren't all that summer friendly, and my only alternative is flip flops. Except now that I have them, I don't really know how to pull it off. Oh well. I'm pleased with them despite my inability to be fashionable.

Great product!! My teen enjoyed her shoes and they came in the original box with the special edition Andy Warhol card inside. The box was a little beat up but the shoes were obviously brand new. They even had the "new converse smell". No smell of smoke, animals, or stink at all.
