The only problem I have with this shoe is that it is clunky and heavy. It makes quite a bit of noise when walking on a harder surface. None of my other boat shoes have that problem. Looks good though.

Love the shoes but they were a tad too big...I ordered the suggested size by Amazon 10 1/2, but reordered size 10...so we'll see.........a week later I received my size10's...still a little loose but the toe box does not allow me to go any smaller...all that said, I really like the shoes, just be prepared if the shoes don't fit exactly in your size

I love Chucks. This was my first weatherized pair. They keep my feet dry and warm. These like most Chucks do not have ANY arch support. I recommend the arch supports sold by Dr. Sholl's . I use the Dr Sholl's in all my Chucks.
That being said I do not go trekking through deep snow or very cold temperature in them.
For about 6 inches or less of snow and 20-30 degrees F they are fine.
Unless you hate the color purple these are a good version of Chucks.

If you are looking for that OLD school So Cal Vato Loco look. Then you have arrived!
They are thin top material. Flat sole (inside) borderline cheesy, but I love them! Little step on heel has a little cush. So flimsy, can slip them on while they are tied. Convenient, with that classic look. No running Holmes.

Like other reviews I have read I had to size down. I’m a woman’s size 6 and I bought a size 4 (originally) and it was too big. I look like I had clown shoes on. So I bought a size 3 and they fit perfectly!! I could have got a 3.5 and been fine, but I strictly use these for lifting on leg days only and I prefer them just a tad bit more snug, however they aren’t uncomfortable in any way! Love them!

Give these a couple of washes when you first get them. Softens up the Canvas.
Add some Dr. Scholls insoles and these are great.
