The only two brands of shoes I can wear are Altra and Merrell and so far, these are the best Altra's I have had. I use these to ride my stationary exercise bike and walk my dogs at the park. It looks like they aren't making the 3.5 anymore and now have a 4.0 so I hope that shoe is as good as this one. It took maybe two part time days to break it and then they were great. The toe box is amazing as I have really screwed up toes on one foot and other issues. These shoes are comfortable throughout the day.

Bought these for my fiancé to propose. I had problems the first time I ordered because they allowed me to place the order but the original shoe size was not in stock. I ended up ordering a 9.5 instead of 9 and my fiancé says they fit perfectly and that the 9 may have been too small since they are a snug fit.
Customer service was also patient with me cancelling and reordering the shoes.

This is my third pair in this series. I have a canvas needed pair that are grey and these leather sneakers that are virtually identical. I prefer the leather for sure but obviously I baby the white shoes. The leather is soft and luxurious and actually very soft.

These shoes are very roomy in the toe box, comfortable, and offer good support. The removable insole has a good arch and molds itself to the contours of your foot. The shoes were comfortable all day from the first day I put them on, so I didn't need to do the "wear them for 2 hours per day" break-in treatment. In fact, the third day I owned them I wore them to work - on a concrete floor for 12 hours, and had no problems at all.
This is definitely my new favorite shoe.
