Over the past few years Nike has brought back the Nike Cortez Forrest Gump in its original “basic” form that consists of a thinner smooth White leather upper contrasted by the Red and Blue accents. This year, Nike will be reintroducing the Nike Cortez “Forrest Gump” by offering it in a deluxe version. This deluxe iteration of the model is defined by its updated White tumbled leather base that results in a more premium look and feel. Your traditional colorful accents such as the Red hits on the tongue branding, heel overlay, and Swoosh, as well as the Blue stripe on the midsole remain in play. Other details include the White Nike branding on the the heels, the Silver lace dubraes and the classic waffle rubber outsole.
