These are very well constructed black leather dress shoes - they don't look cheap at all and the leather and soles are good quality. The buckles have to be undone to make them open up enough to put on. Unfortunately, my husband wears a size 8 (these shoes are size 8), but he can't wear them because they are too tight across the tops of his feet. I think these are better for men with narrow feet. They are quite awesome to look at, and I wish he could wear them but they will have to be re-homed.

When my 12-year old son said that he wanted these shoes, I ordered them. I have purchased several New Balance products (for my family) in the past, and have found them to be durable and comfortable. When these arrived (quickly and ahead of schedule I might add), I was pleasantly surprised. They look better in person than the photo. The shoes run true to size (my son wears a 10 ½) and he says that they are very comfortable. He even thinks that they extremely stylish (or as stylish as green shoes, with camouflage accents and orange laces can be). And I will be able to tell you in about 4 months how well they wear (traditionally tennis shoes last about 6 months before they begin to tear up) after he puts some more miles on them. But overall, I give them 5 stars.

I wear size 11. have two other Skechers sneakers size 11. All very very comfortable. Ordered Concept 3 Hartage in size 11 and it's too small. Suggest ordering one size up for this model.

I initially bought these for a trip involving long walks over hilly, cobblestone streets. They held up very well (and thanks to these shoes, so did I). There was very little evidence of wear, and they are still in great condition. I will continue to wear them as good casual walking shoes. I indicated that the shoes fit "as expected," but I should add that I usually wore them with heavy socks. Had I been wearing thin socks, I would consider them "somewhat wide," but still a good, comfortable shoe.

I do not care anymore for status symbols on my shoes, these are the best I have ever bought. When I visited Germany and Austria I took these with me and was surprised how popular they are in those countries. For some unknown reason these same shoes cost more in Europe .

It's comfortable but I wish I had gotten a 1/2 size larger. Every time I wear them, I get compliments. I'm going to wear them today!
