Super lightweight shoes with soft cushion soles. Literally the lightest lace up shoes I have ever worn. Very comfortable and airy. Woven upper lets feet breathe, but will let in dew to soak feet. Only real downside is the shoelaces that came with shoes are way too long and drape across the feet to touch the walking surface. Otherwise a great casual shoe

Authentic, and true to size in both width and length. Zero arch support for those over forty. These Vans slay me; the checkerboard style reminds me of high school, 5,000 years ago, and dancing with the Italian Formula One team in Long Beach 4,000 years ago. Bought my son these shoes so that he could have something more formal than flip-flops but less casual loafers. As a result he wears them all the time. It is important to purchase ankle socks this way it looks like he's wearing his shoes without socks. As a bonus, he doesn't look like an old man and the young boys body with white crew socks covering his ankles and he gets to be a little bit of a skater/rebel.
