I purchased these for a recent vacation to The Mid Gulf Coast of Texas. They were so comfortable, couldn't tell I had them on. The footbed gives just the right amount of support. I wore them fo 18 hrs several days.

Probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. It’s my go to shoes now for work and leisure. It goes pretty well with Khakis or jeans. Extremely easy to get it on and remove it. I was initially skeptical that this might come off too often cuz of it’s construction but this is not an issue at all. I can see why they say it’s not athletic use as it would perhaps come off too easy in this case.

I can see why this shoe is the price that it is. For one its amazingly durable, I walk on sharp rocks where Timberlands have gotten torn the first week i had it. I tripped over a nail sticking out of the deck at night. I though my shoe would of been ruin, torn, or at least a noticeable mark on the shoe. As of my surprise it looked like nothing happen. The shoe is very well made with quality material. I'm a size 9 but i wish i would of order the 8-8.5 size. This is a european company. They cater more in the european size. I would get a size smaller. I can't wait to get another ecco but the next time around it will be 8-8.5 size.

I love the look of these shoes. I find that the fit is good, but if you are wearing for long periods, I am not sure they are the most comfortable shoes. I use them for a night on the town, but not for working.

Good looking and has a bit of pizazz so wearing it for a casual diner in a nice place is perfectly fine!
Husband is usually a solid 13. He says a slightly thicker sock would tighten it up for him.
Personally, I think he just has to tie his shoes better! ; )

Had to exchange for half size smaller. Always wear 10.5 in running shoes (I only buy Saucony), but have realized that nearly all casual shoes/dress shoes run a little larger now days - so size 10 fits perfectly. Insole is a little odd, it's not totally flat, with some extra padding, but I'm sure it will break in fine. At this price point you can't go wrong. I only hope they make the exact same shoe in all white.
