As of this review I don't know how much these shoes cost so I have to rate based on construction and comfort alone. I like to incorporate cost when I can but can't this time. These shoes are extremely light weight and seem to be very well constructed. I don't know how they will hold up when worn while running, but for basic comfort they feel good. They have a bit of a lower ridge in the inside where the toes go and I'm not sure if I like that yet or not. It does give my toes something to sort of grip. I like the colors and they have a nice, sleek look about them. They don't feel good when worn without socks because of some scratchiness so if you like go sockless you might not like these shoes. But when worn with socks they are very comfortable. I received a size 9 for review and they seem true to size. These seem to be true to size.

Wow, this was my sneaker back in the day@12 yrs old. I begged my mom for 2 weeks, until she broken down and got them for me. I had to have a red pair. This was my 1st pair of real sneakers. Before then butter cookies sneakers from the rack at the grocery store $2.99. My Pro Keds $13.99 in 1979.

TBD, but I don't expect these to be very durable. I see weak points in the shoes already with the build. The orange border along the top of the bottom of the shoe isn't even properly lined up on one of them, was probably a gluing mistake. Not a big deal, but it does speak to the craftsmanship or lack thereof.

no arch support and thin insole. Looks like you could replace the insole if needed but they don't look tall enough to accommodate arch supports or orthotics. Not important to my teenager but felt it worth mentioning for adults.

Please do not listen to the negative nancies on these reviews. I swear, I have been a member of Amazon since 2004 and it seems the whiners are increasing. These shoes are comfortable as HE**! They dry quickly and breathe big time. Easy on easy off...the review about the heel dropping is plain WRONG. Ugh, what is Magilla Gorilla doing reviews now?
HIGHLY recommended!
PS- Got mine from Half Moon outfitters since I had a credit...much better price on Amazon.
