I've tried for over two months to find shoes for my 82 yr. old father. I've ordered and returned several pair. He wears a 5E. Some companies don't seem to understand what 5E is. Propet does! These are PERFECT!!! The size is accurate. The fit is comfortable. Not too tight, not too loose. Most important, the Velcro straps are long enough to reach all the way across the shoe and cover the fuzzy stuff on the other side! You'd be surprised how many shoes have short leather Velcro straps that barely reach across the shoe once it's on the foot! Propet took into consideration that you actually do need a little extra strap length once you put the shoe on! I'm SOOOO glad to FINALLY find a shoe my dad loves!

I usually buy the Pro Walker in 9-1/2 Wide & they always fit perfectly. So, I figured that all Rockports are sized the same..... Well, these are not. They are slightly shorter than the Pro Walkers. My toe touches the front of the shoe unless I make sure the laces are tight; and push my foot back into the heel cup. If you order these, make sure you go 1/2 size larger.

great shoes, but if you want to change from regular heal up sneakers to flat make sure to change it through gradual distance, do not buy the flat shoes and run long distance. you must train for it first.

Memory foam insert really is quite comfortable, but holds the heat, and eventually it molds to your foot print. If you have any metatarsal problems, it could aggravate it.

no arch support and thin insole. Looks like you could replace the insole if needed but they don't look tall enough to accommodate arch supports or orthotics. Not important to my teenager but felt it worth mentioning for adults.
