This All-Star iteration of the Nike Zoom Freak 5 is a grade school exclusive that arrives in a Geode Teal, Metallic Silver, Black, and Glacier Blue color scheme. Constructed out of a mix of engineered mesh and leather, design details include a full Geode Teal base with Metallic Silver overlays that present an eye-catching prism design which also happens to be a recurring them in this year’s Nike’s All-Star collection. I ordered these shoes but i've already had experience with skechers and they do run a little big so i ordered a size smaller. It's a comfortable shoe.

I love Keds Kickstart sneakers. This is my third pair. These run very true to size. I measure 5.5 and on the upper end of a medium width. I usually size up to a 6 in all my shoes, and I did this with my first two pairs. That was a mistake. Even though I wear no-show cotton socks with these, the 5.5 is perfect. If you wear your sneakers barefoot, definitely do not size up!

If the kickstart feels narrow to you, pull the laces out completely, gently stretch them open, put them on you feet, stand up in them, THEN loosely lace them. Within a week, they will start to stretch, and you’ll need to tighten the laces all the way down.

I really like the black slub satin. There’s a subtle sheen to the satin, and the plush velvet laces are just the right touch.

I’ve worn a pair of these for 12 years. Bought identical pair number for number and couldn’t walk in them. Weird. So I ordered these. They look the same. They’re both size 13 4E. This pair fits perfectly. When I switched between the ones that fit and the ones that hurt, I found that one pair squeezed my left foot and prevented me from using them. Those were purchased years ago but never used. Both the worn out pair and the ones purchased years ago were made in the same place, Taiwan.
These new ones are made in Vietnam. Don’t know if that’s the difference but it could be.

no arch support and thin insole. Looks like you could replace the insole if needed but they don't look tall enough to accommodate arch supports or orthotics. Not important to my teenager but felt it worth mentioning for adults.
