The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 Made in USA 1998 Pack gets its inspiration from from Hype Williams’ film Belly which starred DMX and Nas, and an iconic XXL magazine cover featuring Jay-Z, DMX, and Ja Rule. The three pairs dubbed, Outro, Intro, and Keisha Blue. Each pair is constructed out of a mesh base and suede or leather overlays. You can also see some JFG branding on the lateral side of the heel all while being placed atop the model’s signature ENCAP midsole. A “1998” is also placed on the heels. Something worth noting is the fact that the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 has swayed away from previous colorful Joe Freshgoods x New Balance collabs in favor of a look that’s much more monochromatic.
