I like the wide wide which is equivalent to 2EE to my understanding, and the X-Wide is a 4EE or EEEE, which is to wide for me and my feet roll around in them....However this shoe does not have memory foam inserts. Which is the only negative thing about this shoe. And to put an antra insert in the shoe leaves you very little room for my foot. The price is good. Two day service as promised package in a heavy duty poly bag.

Great shoes that fit well and are very comfy. They do not hit my ankle when I walk. They don't have a lot of padding like a running or walking shoe, yet are very comfortable on a walk. I have worn them on a 5 mile fitness walk and they were good. I also have bunions and they do not have straps that hurt my feet like some shoes. I usually wear them for casual wear with pants.

Nice shoe…I probably should have ordered a half size bigger. I can gif 5.5 in mens 7 women, but the 5.5 was a little snug without socks. Still a very nice shoe for the price.

Shoe was a bit snug, but this is good for sporting activities and has excellent support as my feet hurt wearing other shoes of similar construction. It is beginning to show cracks on the side of the top where the toes bend but so far the sole has remains attached and the show is still in good shape overall after about o year of wear.
Not great for cold weather as the uppers "breath" and my feet can feel the cold air quickly.

no arch support and thin insole. Looks like you could replace the insole if needed but they don't look tall enough to accommodate arch supports or orthotics. Not important to my teenager but felt it worth mentioning for adults.

I bought these terrific shoes to keep until my current identical pair needs to be replaced. Although I normally don't wear a wide size, I bought both pairs in wide to hopefully allow a toe to heal that had been cramped by the various slip-ons I had been wearing for years in a size that was actually too small for my somewhat longer left foot. Not only is the toe no longer a problem, but I use the shoes rather than my assortment of golfing shoes when I'm on the course. Their primary use continues to be for long walks and mild day hikes. Unquestionably the most comfortable enclosed shoes I've worn.
