The T500, true to its origin, introduces refined neutral tones that offered something new yet familiar. The New Balance T500 is said to be a modern homage to subtle luxury. Paying tribute to ’80s tennis style that is known for quality and charisma, this iteration of the model boasts a pigskin suede and nubuck construction decorated with perforation hits on the toe box. I find the Fitsmart Low comfortable and easy to wear around town. Support is not great, especially in the area around the ball of the foot; it almost feels more like a slipper than a shoe & you wouldn't want to go hiking or standing all day in these. They do run a bit long and narrow - I dropped 1/2 a size and added a width to get it to be perfect, which it now is. It's a very nice looking shoe and fits perfectly into the "dress sneaker" category. I'd buy them again, which I can't say for all of my shoes, but again I want to caution that they are not designed for all-day standing or extensive walking; they are casual, light-duty shoes.

This shoe suited me well for 3 month with fairly use. I used this shoes 10 hours per week and it served me well. The rubber sole really helped me from slipping in the kitchen area with wet surface. Nothing has been torn yet. I'm expecting this shoe will last me for a good 8 months.

These shoes are amazingly light and comfy. I do buy a size up and put a Crocs brand insole in them for more comfort. Totally spoiled by these now, better than crocs.

I'm very pleased with these shoes. They fit perfectly -- they are a true size 11 -- which is not a common situation these days. The medium width is also accurate.

The build quality is very good. It feels very well put together, with the edge and sole well attached, and good quality stitching throughout. The end of the tongue and the interior edge is lined with an man-made "leather" that looks and feels high quality. The canvas body is sturdy. Even the shoelaces are of good quality.

The overall look is nice. It's unusual, with a blue leaf-type pattern and a solid gray, but it works in terms of looks. It's not flashy, but it has more visual appeal than the usual monotone color scheme.

There's enough padding in the insole to make these comfortable for walking, but it could do with a bit more for extra comfort.

All in all, a mostly comfortable, nice looking, well-made pair of sneakers.
